After the violent collision and the death of Antoine Alléno, the Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation for “manslaughter aggravated by the theft of the vehicle and the state of alcoholic impregnation of the defendant”. The driver who caused this fatal accident was placed in police custody, and the investigation was entrusted to the Service for the judicial treatment of accidents (STJA) of the Paris police headquarters.
