Huawei has been working for several months on the new version of its in-house OS, HarmonyOS 3.0. This should start rolling out just after the summer.
Huawei has been developing its own operating system, HarmonyOS, since 2019, in particular for its smartphones and tablets. This very young OS is currently in version 2.0, distributed since the summer of 2021, but version 3.0 is now expected.
Version 3.0 would be here in a few months
While we will have to wait for this third version of HarmonyOS to arrive in the summer, we will ultimately have to wait for the start of the school year. HarmonyOS 3.0 should indeed be deployed from September. The information came from a leak unknown by name Changan Digital King who shared on Weibo the preview of an internally unveiled roadmap.
We do not know the reasons for this apparent report, but we know for the moment that the first betas of the OS should be available next month.
If HarmonyOS 2.0, present in particular on the P50 Pro, does not stand out for its efficiency, we hope that version 3.0 will change the situation. It seems that Huawei has focused more on improving performance and user experience rather than a design overhaul.
In addition, it is the highly anticipated Mate 50 and 50 Pro which would be the ambassadors of HarmonyOS 3.0, being the first to benefit from it natively.
