Definitely, the Galaxy S20 has had a series of problems for the past few months. In July 2021, many owners of the former Samsung flagship complained of major problems with the screen of their device. In this case, these users watched helplessly as their smartphone screen died.

This failure is first manifested by the appearance of several black and white bands on the slab, before the latter does not completely turn white or green. A major problem, especially since no software solution can solve it. The only possibility for the users concerned, opt for a screen replacement. An operation that can be expensive, especially if the smartphone is no longer under warranty. In December 2021, the black series had continued, with several sound problems on the Galaxy S20 following the deployment of the One UI 4.0 update.

Or, our colleagues from the Android Police site relay a new problem on Galaxy S20 screens. Indeed, several users on Twitter, Reddit and Samsung forums are reporting that lines of pink or green pixels now interfere with the screen of their S20. Many of them claim that this problem appeared after the latest One UI 4.0.1 software update. In fact, one would think that this is the source of the problem.

However, other much older testimonials (some date from August 2021) report the same malfunction. “Samsung, I believe you should do a reminder on your phones. Obviously this vertical green line is a known issue on your S20 and S20 Plus range. I just got a software update and tonight, out of the blue, this vertical green line appeared on my screen. This is not satisfactory Samsung”, writes an owner on the Seoul firm’s forum.

For the moment, Samsung has not yet officially reacted to this problem.. In fact, it is impossible to know its origin or to know if the manufacturer intends to take charge of any repairs on the devices of injured users. We will update this article as soon as we know more.
