Samsung extensive sound service to customers thanks to sign language support for deaf and hard of hearing people their repair centers in collaboration with the CNSE Foundation.
The sign language support service was only available “online”. It was announced in September 2021, coinciding with the “International Day of Sign Language”, and customers wishing to use it can log in via the website from 09:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday.
From Thursday, May 12, has been extended to eleven official technical services Samsung, as the company said in a statement. It thus responds to “its objective of improving the quality of support”, taking a new step in its collaboration with the CNSE Foundation.
Samsung has highlighted that it is “the first consumer electronics manufacturer to offer this solution in Spain” for the support of people who are deaf or hard of hearing, who could use the Svisual video-interpretation platform To contact an interpreter who will transmit all the information to the technicians in real time.
In a first phase, eleven repair centers located in in Madrid, Barcelona and Valenciaincluding the Samsung Store in El Corte Inglés, will have this service, which will initially be offered in Spanish sign language.
