Samsung Electronics is set to release a special Pokémon Edition version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 in South Korea.
The Z Flip is certainly the Korean manufacturer’s most underrated phone: it’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888, 5G compatible, water resistant (IPX8) and has dual cameras with 12-megapixel sensors. The standard camera offers optics with an f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization and the ability to record HDR10+ video. The second is ultra wide-angle. It’s a phone we’ve tested, with a return that includes 6 months of use.
But what we love about this phone: the main screen is 6.7 inches diagonally, with the 22:9 aspect ratio whose refresh rate goes up to 120Hz and automatically adjusts to optimize battery life. As you have certainly understood, the interest of this phone is to be able to be folded in half to be forgotten at the bottom of the pocket.
A special Pokemon edition
Samsung has unveiled the Pokémon edition of its Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable smartphone, which is likely to be irresistible to collectors. It comes in a special box containing lots of Pokémon-themed accessories, including a Pikachu photo case (with a customizable pack), a Pikachu transparent case set, a Pokémon pouch with a lanyard, a Pikachu keychain and a Poké Ball support. There will also be Pokémon Edition ringtones, themes, and wallpapers.
As is often the case with these special editions, the Pokemon Edition will probably only be released in South Korea in a limited number of copies.
