BRIEF // The Google I/O was an opportunity for the Mountain View firm to lift the veil on its new headphones true wireless. The Pixel Buds Pro come as an offensive aimed at Apple’s AirPods Pro.

The rumor produced by Jon Prosser finally materialized at Google I/O 2022: the Pixel Buds Pro have indeed been announced by Google. These new headphones true wireless premium will integrate active noise reduction and a transparent mode, already differentiating them from Pixel Buds and Buds A.

To justify their Pro positioning, these intras will also be returned from microphones to beamforming capable of analyzing ambient noise, isolating and reducing it to provide better understanding. One of the main novelties is the spatial audio functionality democratized by Apple on its AirPods Pro. This technology gives headphones a binaural sound virtualization algorithm, promising the feeling of true surround spatialization.

The future Google Pixel Buds Pro will be compatible with multipoint Bluetooth, which will allow them to be used with several devices simultaneously. Google Assistant will also be there, suggesting functions induced simply by voice.

Google has advanced on the autonomy of its true wirelesswhich he estimates at 7 hours of listening time with noise reduction and up to 11 hours in passive mode.
