Huawei Morocco has signed a memorandum of understanding with six universities in the Casablanca-Settat region. This agreement was initialed on the sidelines of the regional meetings organized by Hassan II University as part of the National Plan to Accelerate the Transformation of the Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation Ecosystem (PACTE ESRI 2030), interpreted by the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Abdellatif Miraoui. It concerns the Hassan II Universities of Casablanca (UH2C); Hassan I of Settat (UH1); Chouaib Doukkali of El Jadida (UCD); the Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences (UM6SS); the International University of Casablanca (UIC) and Mundiapolis of Casablanca (UMC).

This partnership concerns the development of ICT skills, the encouragement of excellence in the service of quality education in Morocco and the consolidation, ultimately, of the public-private partnership. It will be necessary, according to the CEO of Huawei Morocco, Jerry Cui, “to facilitate students’ access to the labor market and to develop training and certification programs open to students, teachers and administrative and technical executives”.
